Trilce Estrada Olvera is a journalism and mass communication master’s student at Arizona State University, a research assistant for the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Southwest Health Reporting Initiative and a part-time photojournalist for The State Press. She is from Mexico City, where she was assistant director of social communication and led the audiovisual production department at the Mexican Ministry of Health.
